The war in Afghanistan, unlike the war in Iraq, is a war of necessity.
And we should stay there until all necessities have been resolved, leaving only when we have met all our objectives.
And our objectives are, what?
We're out to kill Bin Laden, right? But isn't he in Pakistan?
Something about this whole thing reminds me of the drunk who was looking for a lost contact lens under the street light. It popped out 30 yards away, but the light was better under the streetlight.
Meanwhile, let's being the boys home, temporarily, until we can figure out what the fuck we want to accomplish.
